Stage Manager DSM / ASM

I’m Steff Norman, a Stage Manager based in the South Wales and Liverpool areas. I specialise in creating prompt books, cueing performances, and supporting rehearsals and technical processes.

My passion for theatre began in secondary school, first as a performer before discovering my love for backstage work during a workshop. I went on to train in Production Arts at Gower College Swansea, completing a two-year BTEC course with a Merit and gaining hands-on experience across a variety of productions.

I continued my training at university, where I expanded my skills and worked on numerous projects, including the opportunity to collaborate with The Everyman Theatre, Liverpool. This led to my professional debut as Deputy Stage Manager on A Monster Calls.

 

I bring organisation, adaptability, and a calm head under pressure to every production. Whether supporting in rehearsals, running tech weeks, or calling shows, I’m committed to making the creative vision run smoothly on stage and backstage.
